High Purity Ball Valves
The Valex High Purity Ball Valve incorporates the same high standards that customers have come to expect from Valex for over two decades. The design, manufacture, testing, cleaning, packaging, distribution, and servicing of the High Purity Ball Valve carries the same Valex tradition for excellence associated with the many other high-purity components we offer.
Each ball valve is carefully scrutinized by highly trained and experienced inspectors, and benefits from the stringent requirements of the Valex quality system. All ball valves are 100% helium leak tested, cleaned, and assembled in a class 100 cleanroom.

Benefits:
  • Tube-Full-Port Design
Dramatically decreases fluid flow resistance using the same bore sizes for both valve internal components and the connecting tube. Elimination of socket welds reduces contaminant pockets and makes a high purity connection.
  • 3-Piece Swing-in-Place Construction
Offers quick and easy in-situ maintenance while maintaining parts alignment and allowing easy access to internal components after installation.
  • High Quality Stainless Steel Construction
All wetted metallic surfaces of stainless steel ball valves are constructed from 316L stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance. 300-series stainless steel is also used in the remaining non-wetted components to protect from environmental corrosion.
  • Easy-Torque Handle
The heavy-duty long handle gives plenty of leverage to open or close the valve against flowing process fluid.
  • Locking Device
The handle has an integral safety tab to prevent accidental operation, and it can be locked in the open or closed position with a standard padlock.
  • Color-Coded Handle
Choose from nine clearly identified colors to match your facility's process-fluid color code for easier identification.
  • Purge Ports
Compression or face-seal purge ports are available upstream, downstream, or on both ends of a ball valve.
